Hottest Repos

  • taste-skill — 2,715 stars today (24k total). "Give your AI good taste." Skill file that stops LLMs from producing generic output. Nearly doubled its daily velocity from yesterday's 1,440/day. The anti-slop movement is no longer niche — it's a product category. Companion repo stop-slop (5.5k, +664/day) also keeps climbing.

  • Understand-Anything — 4,466 stars today, 19.2k this week (39k total). Turns codebases into interactive knowledge graphs. Third straight day at the top. Grew from 30.6k → 34.8k → 39k across our last three digests. The "code comprehension as infrastructure" thesis is now proven at scale.

  • codegraph — 21.2k stars this week (29.5k total). Pre-indexed local code knowledge graph. Still the #1 weekly repo. Two code-graph tools collectively adding ~40k stars/week = established category, not a fad.

  • MoneyPrinterTurbo — 1,737 stars today (61.2k total). New to trending. One-click AI short video generator (TikTok-style). Python + MoviePy. MIT licensed. At 61k stars and 9k forks it's clearly battle-tested, but today's surge suggests a new wave of adoption — possibly driven by the broader AI video generation wave (see ViMax below).

  • ECC — 2,062 stars today (195.7k total). The meta-layer agent harness for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor. At 196k stars it's approaching rarefied air. The "optimize your AI coding agent" market shows no signs of cooling.

AI & ML

  • heretic — 219 stars today (22k total). Fully automatic censorship removal for language models via abliteration. AGPL-3.0. Trending in Python. Provocative project that reflects growing demand for unrestricted local models.

  • microsoft/agent-governance-toolkit — 484 stars today (2.9k total). Developing story — grew 33% since we noted it two days ago at 2.2k. Policy enforcement, zero-trust identity, and execution sandboxing for autonomous agents. Covers all 10 OWASP Agentic Top 10 risks. Enterprise agent safety is leaving internal repos and going open source.

  • Kronos — 402 stars today (26.8k total). Foundation model for financial market microstructure. Third consecutive day trending. Steady daily growth suggests real practitioner interest, not just hype-cycle traffic.

  • Anthropic-Cybersecurity-Skills — 885 stars today (10.7k total). 754 structured cybersecurity skills mapped to MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF 2.0, D3FEND. Works across 20+ agent platforms. Crossed 10k — domain-specific skill files are a real niche now.

  • 12-factor-agents — 1,393 stars this week (22.5k total). Design principles for production-grade LLM-powered software. Think "Twelve-Factor App" but for agents. The agent ecosystem is mature enough to need its own design manifesto.

Developer Tools

  • cc-switch — 1,003 stars today (82.7k total). Cross-platform desktop all-in-one assistant for Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Gemini CLI, and Hermes Agent. Rust-based. At 83k stars, the "unified AI coding desktop" has serious gravity.

  • earendil-works/pi — 824 stars today (56.3k total). AI agent toolkit: coding agent CLI, unified LLM API, TUI & web UI libs, Slack bot, vLLM pods. TypeScript. The "everything agent toolkit" — one repo, many surfaces.

  • OpenWA — 2,594 stars this week (6.7k total). Free, open-source, self-hosted WhatsApp API Gateway. MIT licensed. Created Feb 2026 and already at 6.7k. Messaging API infrastructure continues to be a high-demand category.

  • OpenStock — 634 stars today (12.4k total). Open-source alternative to Bloomberg/Yahoo Finance. Real-time prices, alerts, company insights. Next.js + shadcn/ui. AGPL-3.0. "Open source everything" is coming for financial data platforms.

  • Nango — 448 stars today (9.2k total). Platform connecting products and AI agents with 800+ APIs. Auth, proxy, TypeScript integration functions. Used by Replit, Ramp, Mercor. The "API plumbing for agents" layer.

Hidden Gems

  • dograh (3.4k stars) — Self-hosted voice AI platform. Open-source alternative to Vapi and Retell. On-prem, BYOK, speech-to-speech or LLM/STT/TTS, visual workflow builder, MCP native, telephony support. BSD-2-Clause. The voice agent infrastructure is consolidating and this is the best open-source entry I've seen. 881 stars this week.

  • kubernetes-sigs/agent-sandbox (2.6k stars) — Official Kubernetes SIG project for isolated, stateful AI agent runtimes. 124 stars/day. This is the infrastructure layer for agent isolation that enterprises will need. K8s-native agent sandboxing, from the people who make K8s. Worth watching.

  • cursor/plugins (968 stars) — Official Cursor plugin specification and plugins. Still tiny, but growing fast (94/day, 464/week). Cursor joining the plugin ecosystem race alongside Anthropic's knowledge-work-plugins signals that "IDE plugin marketplaces for AI" are about to be a thing.

Notable Trends

  • Anti-slop is mainstream. taste-skill nearly doubled its daily growth to 2.7k/day. stop-slop crossed 5k. "Make AI output less generic" now has its own product category with multiple competing repos, active development, and real money-level star counts. This reflects a maturing user base that's moved past "wow AI can write" to "AI writes badly and I need to fix that."

  • Agent governance trifecta. Three separate governance/safety repos trending simultaneously: Microsoft's agent-governance-toolkit (enterprise policy), Anthropic Cybersecurity Skills (domain skills mapped to frameworks), and k8s agent-sandbox (infrastructure isolation). The industry is building guardrails in the open — and all three are gaining real traction, not just announcement stars.
